HALL OF SHAME - Loser parents who AVOID CHILD SUPPORT!

Here's something that I'm sure bugs a lot of people a lot of the time. I love my children and have them with me 24/7 every day of the year. I don't begrudge that time spent as I know I am the real winner after all of this. I can stand proudly and be counted as doing the right thing.

My kids haven't seen their dad since 2005 (Now known as "SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick). He was paying $4.28 for 2 kids child support at that time. I had to go through a Change of Assessment to get CSA to look in more depth. They determined he should pay $12,000 a year valid to March 2008. I remember the CSA Officer saying to me that though "SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick" had the capacity to pay more, the likelihood of getting it was another matter.

During that time, "SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick" lodged is 07 TAX return which showed an income of $113,000! So, he was given quite a discount on his child support. However, when that agreement ran out in March 08, "SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick's" new Child Support assessment was based on his 07 Tax Return. Well, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out what happened next.... CSA sent a letter informing "SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick" of an increase in the amount they would deduct each month. "SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick" was assessed at paying $2300 a month! And, of course, "SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick" was straight on the phone to them telling them a new estimate of income for the year. "SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick" has somehow managed to go from earning $113,000 to $15,000 a year! And child support based on an estimate of $15,000 equates to $7.62 per month, for 2 children.

I can't even take one of them to the movies for that. I used to run my own business, but after the separation in 2004, I found it increasingly more difficult trying to juggle a 7day a week business & raising kids alone. SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick has barely seen them. In my opinion, they are thriving without the broken promises SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick would make of when he'd see them for birthdays & xmas. SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick's false promises of sending them a present or even a card for their birthday. What a loser!
How can a man, or a woman who is not the main caregiver of his/her children, think it's right not to give financial assistance in the raising of his/her children from their past relationships?
Do these people worry about their kids? Do they wonder if they have enough to eat? Do they worry if they have enough clothing to wear? Enough money for specialist appointments? Dental? Optical?

Sadly, I think not. I think these deadbeat loser parents like "SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick" only think of themselves.

Child Support Agency in Australia has legal enforcement channels. One day, they will catch up with you "SHAME ON YOU Colin Merrick" and you WILL be caught with your pants down!
